Read the FAQ.
You can't buy from the states.
The Police WILL NOT see you, do you know why?
Because you WILL NOT bring them where anyone will see.

They are not required by law.

In the US, airsoft guns need the orange muzzle, in Canada they don't.

thank you mike.

Unless you buy from a crappy army surplus store that "imports" them from the US, then you may or may not have the orage plug.

Buy only from the retailers above to prevent anal chaffing.

As mentioned above, only products coming in somehow from the US have the orange paint on them required by law in the US. Canada is not governed by the same law, and when buying from the majority of retailers here in Canada, you will not/should not get any of the orange paint on your AEG's or GBB's the majority of the time.

If you play where the police can see you, they will put you in a cage if they dont shoot you with their real guns first. It's that simple.

Visit the Teams or the Games section, and go meet local players.

UTGs in Canada have those disgusting organge tips...but they're easy to remove/paint over if you have the tools and know how. Don't play in public places/your property unless its in the basement where no one will see you. Woods no matter how remote some idiot would venture right in the middle of a game. Go to an airsoft field...

realitys-soulja January 11th, 2006 21:35

welcome to airsoft. most airsoft guns within canada do not have the orange muzzle blze because our laws do not require it. only guns from the United States will have them but don't even think about trying to buy from the states unless you have some sort of special license, because canadian custums agents will seize it, and your money you used to pay for it will never come back to you =P. CannonFodder, i think that is a perfectly reasonable way to answer the question. I hope you read some airsoft FAQs for your own sake.

I think it's a great way of answering the question.... thats what I meant.
It's up to every airsofter to play in resposible places for the sake of our sport, too much media attention and next thing you know...BOOM, national ban on airsoft, I don't know about everyone but personally I'd go insane

A few of my friends have really been getting into airsoft lately after a fateful trip to Canadian Tire a while back, however they seem to be charging at the whole thing pretty blindly. I've tried to take the time to figure out some stuff like this, however Canadian laws regarding airsoft guns just seem...confusing. Could somebody help me out here, near as I can tell...

It doesn't matter which color the tip is
Airsoft guns are legal in Canada

I admit that I'm still confused on that second one, just little things like are they legal to use off of a course (I.E. Basement, woods on private property) or is there an age limit for buying one...I've had no luck clearing this up and just thought maybe this community could help.
