Great review

Just wondering why the TM over the WE?

QUATTROISKING May 8th, 2017 17:06

I have many glock builds...
Full custom build
Full hk build
Full we build
Full tm build
Bell semi build

I listed them in order on which I preferred... tm is all hype and you have to literally buy everything after market (barrel, slide, frame) the most expensive build was the tm by far. Almost double.
You can only use green gas with a stock tm.

My advice to have a custom glock would be to buy piece by piece it's the best result.
If I wanted a reliable basic airsoft sidearm nothing fancy I would buy a hk,or we glock then upgrade nossle to tm and outer barrel to guarder.
I will never buy tm again!

Yhaa most of my Glocks are from HK3/WE and they have been solid forever....

Minor issues to be honest... great out of the box

Not sure why people would opt for a TM which requires tinkering and upgrading to make reliable

But hey maybe someone can convince me about TM

No, they don't.

If you don't mind having a full plastic gun and having to buy expensive green gas buy tm 100% it will outshoot all airsoft glock replicas stock for stock.

Well, I did try just once the TM Glock 17 and I was very impressed by the consistency of the shots and very minor cooldown factor, that was during winter and I was that much more impressed, the guy was running Nuprol 2.0.

Neither my WE G17 and G19 ever shot that good, I had the noozle breaking on my G17 and I just don't feel it's a reliable gun to shoot in the distance, lots of flyers which I never seen on a TM.
Now I don't mind the plastic slide but I did when I chose the WE, not gonna give up though, I'll give the Maple Leaf Hop-Up/Barrel unit a chance and maybe get an aluminum nozzle (have you guys tried it?).

Buy tm nossle, bucking, and an after market barrel. Also the tm you were shooting was using green gas not propain. Green gas is much more consistent

Maybe I have missed something completely, but is green gas not just propane with silicone oil in it?

Don't forget the perfume. Can't forget the non mercaptan smell ;)

Maple Leaf hop up rubber is amazing with 0.3g BBs
Just installed the hop up chamber hoping for even better results

That's correct as far as I know, I'll give the Maple Leaf set a shot and maybe do an accuracy before and after comparison.

If your going to give it a try make sure to use heavier BBs.

I found 0.30g or heavier BBs really optimize the performance of the Maple Leaf hop up
