protruding gas valve causes gas to release when inserting mag

the mag valve on right protrudes a bit further out relative to the back of the bag, so when it's being inserted into the magwell, it presses on it and releases a tiny bit of gas.

is there a way to tighten it so it's less protruding? can't seem to find any key wrenches for it.

I don't believe that's a thing...

Has it always been like that? If the one on the left is the same brand/make as the right that could indicate something has broken on the right.

Any chance you can take it apart to inspect the o-ring and the compartment that houses the spring? You may need to if that's the only way to stop it from protruding anyways. First time i've seen that happen.

Yes, buy a gas valve key.
