If the pic/still on the vid is his, at least he isn't using the shs dsg :-/ (unless there is a newer version that looks like the riot ones)

why so salty , english is not my main language , not my problem if you claim yourself " gun doc " but cannot understand what is a damn piston cycle vs a gear full cycle , i modified the post so salty people like you wont try to spread sh*t on it

BenG February 22nd, 2017 23:45

This would be cool if this was what 2007? I have no idea how long DSGs have been around for, far long enough to not be news

ThunderCactus February 22nd, 2017 23:56

DSG is old news.
Pesto is kind of the expert on these things, so its kind of ironic calling him out on not knowing whats going on.

not a news , just sharing content that is not often a topic . this forum is so salty i might just keep my accounts closed like i did for years and keep playing airsoft WITHOUT this damn toxic community filled forum. I have to point out that this forum is extremly close minded and is a true cancer to airsoft reputation , lot of toxic people that is not fun to talk to , i must just go , many of you will just be happy that i just fuck off and stop posting but i just had to point that you guys are REALLY what i call cancer to this sport .

community on this forum is what i call a dying community.

not to break his reputation far from this , but working on airsoft replicas is not the hardest task in the world lol

(ps if he is a machinist and make his parts from scratch then in my book he is what i call an expert and he got all my respect from now on , if all he do is using aftermarket parts and installing them, then....................lel )

ThunderCactus February 23rd, 2017 01:24

Fixing CNC machines isn't hard, either. Yet there's less than 2 dozen people across the prairies doing it, and few who are highly recommended.
Slapping a few parts in a gun is one thing. Making it shoot 45rps at 400fps reliably for over 2 years is something completely different.

Sharing knowledge is fine. What you've done is said you need 2 parts to make a DSG, and linked somebody's video on how to build it, which is actually a complete upgrade, not just changing 2 parts.
It's also firing slower than many high speed SSG builds, so it's not even a particularly good DSG build.
That's not "sharing knowledge", it's just advertising someone's youtube channel lol

THIS is sharing knowledge
And so is this

ASC=ReliableEmailRelatedServic February 23rd, 2017 02:13

you dont need more parts to build a dsg. a dual sector gear , just your original piston that you cut the theets , a harder spring ,(most motors these days will do the job) no need than more parts to build a dsg ,

im not telling you guys that it will be the fastest dsg in the world but its the base of any dsg to understand this and even its the basic dsg kit its still better and faster than most regular gearbox systems.

and im not talking about " fixing cnc machines " im talking about making parts from scratch or engineering new systems.

please use your common sense .

--------------------------------------------

i expect a lot of hate since its not a 2008ish account but the facts are the facts , the only difference between the dsg system and a regular gearbox system is that you use a dual sector gear on a piston with less theets and a harder spring to have shorter and faster cycles .

for the motor , most recent motors can handle it with no problem and provide you way more rps than you think.

for the gear set , you dont need a new set of gears(exept the dual sector gear) since most gear sets todays are made to provide high rpm. a stronger spring wont really put a lot more stress than you think since dsg's system are based on a short cycle unlike a regular system wich require a longer cycle (more travel/compression on a weaker spring ).

------> no need more part to build a dsg. <------

AND i expect any airsofters with a minimum of knowledge to already have a Dean connectors set to go with it.

pardon my english/grammar its not my main language.

Alright, all signs point to either a fake troll account or someone that's actually stupid. If you want to talk, show me your gun shooting 60 RPS on 11.1.

The fact that you think any motor these days can run a DSG just fine... This already shows that you know nothing about motors and gear ratios. The fact that you think short stroking and heavier springs give you faster rate of fire and better efficiency... And you say gears today are all made to give high RPM... Sorry dude, stock gears have been 18:1 for over a decade and are still the same for almost every brand. Do you even know the different ratio cuts between different brands? Do you even know that some are cut bevel-step and some are step-sector, and that DSG is not compatible with the latter?

Foggy February 23rd, 2017 03:00

i got this valken battle gun but the bbs dont have enough for people be thinking im cool.
so the only part to increase bbs is dsg (dual sector gear)
you say the stock motor is good enuf but this one is real few bbs i want it to be lots of bbs
how can i tell how strong my spring is because if the bbs dont go far i cant headshot
also what dsg (dual sector gear) do you recommend
pls send to help i am not 2008 account

Some people should just type "kill" in console.

pestobanana February 23rd, 2017 03:05

rcon bot_kill
rcon quit
