Need Advice on HK3P / WE G17 upgrades!

Hey guys!

So I have a HK3P G17 that's stock with a metal trigger lever and metal slide stopper. My goal is to make it as realistic to the Glock 17 as possible and as durable as possible (i.e. replacing as many parts as I can with metal / reinforced parts).

So, here is where I need you guys. I'm not familiar with what's on the market, nor what is WE compatible (there's a lot of discrepancy between TM and WE aftermarket parts). I want you to please suggest me a good, WE compatible replacement for the following:

Inner barrel:
Hop-up rubber:
Steel trigger housing:
Steel hammer housing:
Air nozzle:

I'm already replacing the trigger, hammer and sear, and magazine catch with steel parts.

Thanks guys!

My advice don't go to far to try and upgrade anything... you'll just screw it up the more you start replacing parts.

That said Hop Up Rubber is all you need and if you really want to upgrade more maybe a tightbore barrel.

Maple Leaf is what I would recommend.

Other than that if it ain't broke don't fix it

I had my eye on a maple leaf barrel and bucking. Do you by any chance know the length of a glock inner barrel? I think mine measured at 91mm but it was hard to tell without taking it out of the hop-up casing.

If your dead set on upgrading might as well open it up and measure yourself. Its not very hard. Its pretty much just two screws thats it.

Most of the online retailers in Asia will list the barrels based on what gun your looking to buy for.

I found on my we G18 the hop up sucked. Even with a good rubber. I bought an aftermarket hop unit. And the maple leaf wheel and spacer nub thingy. (I also put in a long barrel but I wanted to boost fps) it shoots great out to 250 feet and can over hop .40g bb's
I can't recall the brand of hop up but it was the only one available I could find.

If you have the HK3 Glock it's already realistic. The frame and slide on the HK3 Glock are good. If you have the WE, you could swap it out for a HK3 frame or Guarder frame. As for the slide, a PGC Glock slide would work. I would not recommend you put a steel slide on it or swap out the internal unless there are broken or malfunctioning parts.

Do you mean a reinforced hop-up chamber? I was going to get a UAC aluminum version, maybe that's what you had?
