Mosfet in a ICS Transform4?

Is there any reason why I cant add a fet to the Transform4?
Was thinking about buying a merf for it.

Any help would be great.

microswitch trigger would be a reason, but it doesn't use one, right?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure how the spring release works when switching to safe

I'm pretty sure that spring release can be dis-engaged.
