Helmet Strap (clip) broke.. Where do I get one?

Couldn't find anything on this when I searched.

My helmet clip snapped. Now I can't do my helmet up. Any ideas how to fix it (replacement) or get a better buckle?

What Hollywood said, type of bucket? You may be able to snap some on there even buckles from MEC, we jst need to know the type.

I can't find a brand on it. But if my memory serves right.. its an emerson fast type.

The buckle it self says head loc on it.

Does that help?

You have a few options pal.

1. Replace the entire strap with a real one.
2. Replace the entire strap with a repro one (may happen again).
3. Replace the buckle.

Check this link for buckles. An alternate would be MEC, but they are more the standard buckles.

Hijack:

Anyone know of a Canadian source for the Gentex MICH strap upgrades (or similar) or if the replicas are any good?

I have one of the nicer (fiberglass?) replicas from years passed, it's fine, but the straps have shit the bed/ sucked to begin with.

Would this do you?

I know this is team Wendy but you did say similar though

Cliffradical February 16th, 2016 22:09

Yup, sure does! Anything is better than a mediocre copy of the stock straps, and Team Wendy is a good pedigree. I also know next to nothing about helmets.
Thanks!
