Importing G36 PMAGs

I intend to buy some more G36 PMAGs since I bought the last ones in Canada except for 1, which would be a pain in the neck to pay shipping for. I found them in stock outside of Canada, but am worried about CBSA seizing them since they have fake shells behind a window (I'm fairly certain it's a sticker). Would CBSA see them on the X-ray, then further inspect my mags and freak out about the sticker and seize them, even though the feeding lip clearly only fits BB's?

I do not believe the fake shells would show up as shells, it would show up as a weird looking ribbed piece of plastic.

Yea the shell shape wouldn't matter as much as the presence of gunpowder. The x-rays they use paint materials different colors, so in the case of bullets they'd be looking for metal + something organic (the gunpower).

You really want to freak them out wrap some headphones around a banana and send it though.*

*No please, don't do that.

lol.

You're fine, I brought in 2 packs of Beta Project PMAGS with the fake bullet casing with no problems.

Two separate retailers:

EBAirsoft
Ehobby

if looking at the xray, the image of the bullet part is a slightly curved, ribbed piece of plastic about 1 cm wide and 8-10cm long It doesn't look like a bullet shape unlike some of the rounds in a p90 mag.

If looking at it visually, if they open the package, it might be different, I'm not sure what the ruling on this would be.

We really need to update the "importing airsoft" thread. Wish I had this info. Although I will say both of my last 2 orders from HK have been sent for "further processing" one was opened by CSBA.

They made it through. The package was opened by CBSA but was let into Canada on the same day.

There really should be an update on the importing airsoft thread.

yeah they're hard to get, but totally worth the money... they've been issue free for me.

There are a ton of threads that should be updated, deleted, or at least un stickied.
