A&K SR25 body Question
 

Ive got this brand new body sitting here doing nothing.

Can i use a V2 gearbox with a SR25 nozzle, Or do i need the 2.5 gearbox?

you need the 2.5, otherwise the nozzle wouldn't be nearly long enough nor would the hop chamber have anything to seat against.

You CAN use a V2.

You also need to make/source a spacer to use between your hop-up and mechbox. And a long nozzle. Really long.

That's the route I am going with my ARES... using a V2... with G&G/A&K/CA mags.

Buffer between gearbox and hopup is: 15.65mm

Nozzle: 32.71mm (from the slot for the tappet plate).

The biggest issue is really interfacing your fire selector... 3D Printer FTW!
