Airsoft Canada - Gas Magazines storage

Since I have been airsofting for almost 10 years and my collections is adding up, also the magazines too. All of them are storage in cabinet most of the time and when I need to use them I have to check the mags and lube the gun, then test it and make sure it works before bring it to site. But I've found the most headache is the magazines leak during storage. Every time I take them out, always found some of them are leaking, no matter the inlet valves or release valves. Even I have already filled gas in for storage as recommenced. Really pain in the Bxxx! Then I did this study....

I used to lay them flat for storage all the time, it leaked either side of the mag. So I thought, when the little bit of liquid gas stayed inside the mag and soaking a bit half of the o-rings when mag laying flat for storage, it meant only partial of the o-rings were soaked, that could be the reason of unbalanced soaking and causing the leak. Then I started to store them straight up, mostly release valve side down (that's the most I found the leaking side for long storage), if I found other side leaking, I placed those up-side down and see. It works...

The release valve is the most movement component and with tiny small 0-rings in there, that's why it is the most causing leaking side. After I found it leak, I'll fill gas with lub and drop it to gun, dry fire it and let the gas and lub rinse through the o-ring set, then leaking side down, could help to lub it back i shape after a while. If still leaking, dry fire it again, if still happening after an hour of long later, you may have to take all o-rings apart to soak them into grenade oil to fix them.

PS, the new Marui 5.1 Gold Match mag is leaking tho brand new, I din't fix it but just fellow this process and holding gas good now.

Here are just partial of my Mags, LOL! If I couldn't find the best way to store them, I would have a big time problem. Tho it's not good all the time, but minimize a lot of the mag leakage.
