AR15 Auto Eject Mag & full Ambidextrous Controls

Might work for Airsoft AR's?!

Strelok July 8th, 2015 15:30

So tacticool it hurts.

Danke July 8th, 2015 16:42

Super cool.

When that magazine ejects I get up and run at you.

FirestormX July 8th, 2015 18:08

Is there any use for an auto ejecting mag?

Most people want to retain their mags. And even when you don't, it's not hard at all to eject the mag manually, on your own terms.
The only reason I can think of, is to alert you that you're out of ammo vs just a jam. But your bolt catch should tell you when you're out of ammo.

No no no man. When the magazine ejects, you throw the gun at the bad guy.

This right here.

All I see from this system is lost mags.

Not saying its not cool, just not overly practical.

Wilkie July 8th, 2015 21:04

If it doesn't make a loud *Pring* noise when it ejects I'll be disappointed

Hectic July 8th, 2015 22:01

Lol, likely not the greatest for airsoft but in some situations it may be practical in saving fractions of a second, not 100% sure but most comps seem to require mag retention, and in the field mag retention is kind of important, perhaps if you are in a fixed location it may be semi use full but again only fractions of a second faster for those who practice.
edit: I could also see these being an issue when you are prone, they would pop out a bit and hit the ground and you'll have to manually remove the mag anyhow.

BioRage July 8th, 2015 23:28

Maybe useful for 3 guns*? lol

Aper July 9th, 2015 00:06

This is awesome !!! Can't wait to lose my 50$ mags and buy new ones since i'm so damn rich ! - said no gbbr owner ever.

Derpystronk July 9th, 2015 01:20

Seems silly to have a system with all these extra, easy ways to eject a magazine and then include a feature that automatically ejects it for you?

I know redundancy is key but I mean not on this.

AR-15 Garand? I'd love the iconic "ping" sound, but agreed, nobody likes lost mags. Neat, but cons outweigh the pros to me.

The system auto ejects the mag when the last round is being chambered so you have one ready to go as your loading the next mag.

There are 2 components to the system.

The first is the ambidextrous control system that can be used with standard off the shelf Pmag's, etc.

If "you want" the auto eject system, then you buy proprietary mags.

The choice is up to the operator.

just another part to break no thanks.
