Hey Carl, paintball copies airsoft
http://www.newlaunches.com/archives/..._takes_aim.php
Yeah, yeah, it's paintball but paintball now uses propain! |
Haha
Thanks for pointing that out to me. Looks like Tippmann has released a propane expansion (not combustion) powered pball gun. I think the cylinder under the hopper with the heat sinks is an expansion cylinder. I'm not sure about their claim that propane is not temperature sensitive. It also has a variable equilibrium pressure set by temperature. I suspect that Tippmann may include an internal regulator to deal with some of this though. They don't need a high flow reg. Just one which can keep the expansion chamber at a consistant pressure just before each shot. |
There was a heated discussion about this on Fark.com about how it would blow up and kill you, at least somebody finally came along and brought up MadMax's lovely greengas = propane finding. You sir will soon take over the propane market!

I wish...
The Tipmann pball gun works on a direct connection to a propane tank. They don't need my device. |
But they may have jacked you findings

ya they also have a XM-8 look a-like entering production
|
Is this a typo? 50,000 shots/tank? That's about $2000+ worth of paintballs

Dident you know? CadPat is out and RealTree is IN! IN! IN!
|
It may look vaguely like an XM8 now, but wait till you attach the hose for the tank... or just connect the tank AND put on the god-forsaken hopper!!!
|
Why do folks always call propane 'ProPAIN'???
Does it hurt you more or something? |
