TM M870 breacher HPA mag mod??

Hi¸

Is anyone aware if an aftermarket magasine to link a HPA rig to a M870 Breacher will be available in the near future

I saw some modding for to get a M870 breacher HPA ready, but it a permanent mod, being able to just swap mag from propane to HPA rig would be amazing!!

Thanks

Bong

I'm unaware of any companies that are developing something like this specifically, but you could replace the gas fill valve with an HPA valve to achieve what you're looking for. Something along the lines of this: http://www.airsplat.com/cqb-russian-...tap-valve.html. You could just buy a second gas "mag" for the M870 and install this on it. It would pretty much allow you to swap between green gas and HPA pretty easily.

The only thing you would have to figure out is how to do this while keeping the stock intact, you may have to drill a hole into the stock or something to run the HPA line through.

Indeed or install a new hpa valve at the bottom? Drill in do the thread and install the valve?

My bad, for some reason I thought the breacher model was the one with the full stock with the gas "mag" in the stock. There's a guy on YouTube that made a home made solution similar to what I suggested earlier. He drilled into the bottom of the gas magazine and installed an HPA valve there, no need to modify the stock or anything. Only thing you'll need is a second gas magazine to modify. Here's the link to the video I'm referring to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYs3KZsSzJI

Get a 1/8 NPT tap and just add a second input at the bottom.

It's not permanent in the sense that you can remove the fitting and plug the hole with a standard brass plug.

Or get a second mag.

BTW I found that specific tap at CanTire. It's been useful quite a few times for HPA rigs already.
