Ups uar

Are there any first hand accounts of ownership? Maybe you tried out one of them on the fields? Or maybe you've just seen one on a rack in a store.

Please lend me your stories. It's much appreciated.

If it was a UPS Uar it would come smashed in the box and youd have to pay them 80 dollars to get it in the door :P

Don't forget what APS stands for.

See... You guys are saying it's a piece of sh*t. I've looked up a bunch of reviews and they've all said the gun is decent. That's why I'm wondering if anyone has hands on personal experience with that specific rifle. I know the company has a shoddy reputation, but maybe they actually produced something halfway OK.

more like when you shoot the gun, the BB will demand payment before delivery.

You do realise that most online reviews from other forums are written by 15 year olds right?

If no one here has direct experience with the APS UAR perhaps you should be the one to gain it.

Google "aps uar problems" and "aps uar experience". There are some common themes for the people who have reported issues - mag fit, mag feeding, long/sloppy trigger bar assembly.

There are two versions of this rifle, the second gen apparently fixing a few problems including mag compatibility. The easiest way to tell them apart is the second gen is rear-wired, the first gen front.

I own one as does my buddy Tim.
We never gamed it as a AEG. Converted ours to Polarstar immediatly, but as for mag fit problems, it is solved by a 2 minute mod to the gun that makes it amazing.
The ergonomics of the gun make it by far my favourite weapon to field. The mag realease is by far the best design for a bull pup.
It will let you use a Prowin hop system for the Ak, which is a bonus.

Also, the company itself is decent to deal with. The gun tech working on my gun lost the two clips in the back of the gun, I messaged aps about getting a new part and they didnt even charge me to replace them, they just sent them even though it wasnt there issue at all

I have a buddy who just got a gen1 in a trade.
Horrible mag feed issues but if it is a 2min mod, big deal. It's pretty quiet, when it does shoot it is actually quite decent. I haven't had to do work to it yet but i think that is coming soon.

Id say more like before leaving the barrel and before hitting the guy. Would drive you broke without hitting anyone...

all you do is take a dremel and remove a bit of the plastic from the mag well with a dremel and your all set
Whats cool is that the little spring mechanism thats behind the mag well acually assists mag ejection so mags come out real nice.
im actually thinking about a second one i am so in love with it

Well I just phoned the Canadian APS and the version they have up is the second version. The one with the battery in the back. The gentleman on the phone stated they are able to ship legally all across Canada, since they have a store stationed in Canada itself. There wouldn't be any problems with getting it shipped. Soon I will be getting it and posting a detailed review with the little knowledge I have. Has anyone ordered guns from their website and got them shipped with any problems?

lurkingknight August 12th, 2014 22:41

we wouldn't be allowed to tell you if we did, since you are a non verified member.
