This one is used on free-floating RAS units.

You can't just pop it onto standard RIS or RAS II units. The mounting mechanism of the free floating RAS is totally different in that the entire railed handguard is one piece, whereas standard RIS, RAS, and RAS II units have seperate uppers and lowers.

i did notice that first factory makes one...that one runs at a cool 37USD. as for the G&P one Illusion, i can only find it on conversion kits.

The one in your attached image actually looks like the one for the G&G M4 SD kit.

It's definitely not the LayLax one. The LayLax one looks shorter.

First of all, it might be helpfull to know exactly what you're application will be.

If your looking to fit it to a stock TM RIS, or grips... it aint gonna work. G&P sells it part of conversion kits because the included frontends will work with it. The Delta Ring alone is usless without the corresponding frontends.

G&P and Classic Army both makes that delta ring... it's meant for the free floating RIS that they sell.

yeah, the first factory is meant to fit TM RIS. go for that if that's the general "look" you want. It just won't perform the same way as the actual conversion kit.
