Starter AEG under $350

Hello, i am looking to purchase my first AEG and have been looking around on the market for one for the past while, and have a good idea of what I'm looking for.

Some requirements include:
Good range, Accuracy (I play outdoors)
M4 or AK platform
High quality construction; Good ABS, polymer, or metal
RIS
Good internals

Also I would preferably like it to be available from a canadian website, but if not thats ok. I'm looking to start my loadout, and will be built around my primary, as so far I've just rented from my local field. I'd like to thank you guys inadvance, hopefully I can find what I'm looking for :)

Get age verified first and the world will be shown to you and I suggest a king arms m4

As mentioned above you need to be age verified to get the good info, at least on here beyond a Google search on your own.

Checking the age verification forum there is one verifier in St. John's so drop him an email or PM off here.

In the meantime keep browsing the open parts of the forum, you will see a lot of threads which will probably help shed some light on more research and then when your verified you can check out the classifieds for some deals.

I would recommend a G&G, good bang for buck, if you go top tech,(prob slightly over budget but worth it) then you get a good looking metal body with solid internals. Their other guns have solid internals and decent polymer/plastic. There are a lot of Canadian sites that carry G&G guns and parts and for the most part they are compatible with many other brands. I've heard mostly good things about King Arms too but I personally have never owned one. M4 or AK good choices as a starter as very common so parts and mags should be readily available. If you play on a team or with same group you might consider using same gun as most of them use so you can swap spare parts or share mags in a game if necessary.

I second the age verification

As far as well priced AEG's go, Ares also gives you some pretty good bang for your buck along with a great variety of M4 platforms to choose from. They have solid guns for starter prices. You can start there, get a feel for what role you want to play, then branch out to other platforms from there.

If you're really wanting to go AK though, I would go with LCT. I would have said Real Sword (I've owned a couple and they are incredible) but to my knowledge the company is now defunct. LCT however is a great substitute.

My personal favourite is VFC for the external quality. But that's the higher end of the spectrum.

But yeah due to laws we can't give you info on where to buy them until you get AV'd :(

king arms m4 is 300-360ish...

some of the cyma Aks are 200-250.. might get lucky and find it cheaper, but really great gun for the amount of money you spend.

Depends where you find a king arms, the one I see, has clearsoft furniture on it and cost about 150, thus giving you the option to mod it however you like

Requires minimal upgrades to be durable and accurate

What upgrades would I need to make it reliable and accurate? Since no stock guns come shooting particularly well out of the box.
And how much would I be looking at spending on the recommended brand of gun?

Also I would preferably like it to be available from a canadian website, but if not thats ok. I'm looking to start my loadout, and will be built around my primary, as so far I've just rented from my local field. I'd like to thank you guys in advance, hopefully I can find what I'm looking for :)

WELL I'M GLAD YOU ASKED!
VFC makes really great M4's and AK's
Although above your price range of $350, they are well worth it.
The only thing you need to upgrade in them is the hop rubber and potentially the barrel, for $50-$120 depending on what barrel you go with.

Understand that because everything is made in China, all manufacturers want to save money somewhere. If this were not the case, there would be no such thing as upgrades.
If you want a gun that shoots like an upgraded aeg out of the box, you'll either have to buy an upgraded aeg, or spend $800-$2200 for a realsword AK or systema ptw
