Pistol

Buying a Glock 17 from KSC. Wondering if the 'made in made in taiwan' and the 'made japan' makes a difference.
Thanks
Sorry for the NOOB question

In what way?

Made in Japan usually means ABS slide, "made in Taiwan" - most likely metal slide and is probably sold under KWA brand IIRC.

Thank you, I've also heard if in Japan there is more quality control.

You can't compare Japanese made pistols/pistols made for Japanese market to any other brands/Japanese clones when it comes to quality. I'm into WW2 and carry WW2 sidearms when I feel like carrying one but a lot of people who play modern and really want to have dependable/accurate sidearm in their holster use TM/KSC based builds. I remember shooting Manchovie's TM Hicapa 5.1 years ago at old FR outdoor field while having KJ M9 in my own holster and thinking: "right..." That thing had the same range as my upgraded 400FPS AK and had the same accuracy with heavy bb's :) I owned KSC Glock with aftermarket metal slide. Great pistol for CQB, especially with long 50rd mags :)

The only real difference between the two are trademarks and metal slides

Be careful though.
There are still some of the old versions the KSC Glocks amongst retailers.
