very nice review man, other than the scope, id say the gun looks pretty boss (some people may disagree)

Kokanee October 13th, 2013 10:44

It is only slightly less atrocious than your average quadruple homicide.

pugs144 October 13th, 2013 15:30

Which one, GG as a brand or the C7? lol

Kokanee October 13th, 2013 16:55

The G&G one Paul

I like the gun for what it is. the scope could be better quality and the colour could be a little closer, but the gun is still a solid air soft gun. I am glad you like the review

The problem many have with the gun is not that it's "good" or "Bad", the scope and colour are only a small part of the issue. The overall issue is that G&G went and built a gun they claim is a C7, when in fact, they release a horrendous abortion of what might, at best, be argued to be C7ish. They mashed multiple versions of the weapon line together, put incorrect fire markings on it and put an improper trademark on it. These are just the tip of the issues.

Best way to put it is that those who like it never used the real steel version and those who hate it are the ones who used it. You can tell which one of us here is currently or ex-military by the reaction of this AEG. For me, I can see where they're trying, but it falls short because I remember how the real steel version looks.

I must disagree. I have heard from a couple of guys who have used the real C7 and they say it is a fair representation. Actually, the reviewer himself has been a user of the real C7 and he appears to like it.

Cobrajr122 October 14th, 2013 20:50

It may be a "fair representation" of a weapon techs last resort to get a spare rifle out the door in am emergency, but it does not represent what G&G has claimed it would, THAT is the issue.

If G&G had used the C7A2 stock instead, they could've saved themselves a lot of grief. I commend them for doing what appears to be a nice job on the Tri-ad rail. Again, it would look more accurate on an A2.

Yeah, it is like a combination of the A1 and A2, isn't it?

One question: I`am not understand correctly in this video guide about scope, in particular about reticle. In this scope it original (as it show in video) or this screen was just an example of real reticle?
And, please, more explain about negative nuances when look in scope.

Kokanee October 15th, 2013 09:35

The scope pictured is the one that comes with the AEG. The scope is a good repro of an Elcan, but the eye relief is pretty bad.
