Iphone screen protection

Hey ASC, here's something to pick your brains... I got an older Iphone that I do use for calling/texting so it's not to be damaged, and found an app I'd like to apply for airsoft usage. Basically it's a gps teammate radar. Anyone with the same app and logged in will show real time positions of the teammates who are logged on. I want to wear (comfortably) mine on my left forearm, so when I am holding my rifle I can glance down and see my teammate's positions and direct them further or keep track who is still on the field (I'm the Team Captain) and find it would be helpful for how we would like to play. It's not necessary, and game-ish, but it's not capable of tracking enemy players so it's not cheating :P :D

Anyway. I was wondering what you would all suggest for Iphone protection from bb impacts. I was thinking a thin plexi but doubt that would be light enough or strong enough to withstand multiple impacts. Obviously it needs to be transparent (or translucent :P) so I can see the screen. I was thinking one of those airsoft iphone cases ie magpul brand but would need to figure out the mounting and screen protection.

There you are. I leave it to you! :P

Put it in a wrist coach and live with the cracked screen when it happens.

point was to avoid breaking the screen since it's also my actual phone lol. I was thinking setting up the app just before the round, insert it into arm case, close and turn off when round is over so I wouldn't need to be able to touch the screen afterwards.

EDIT: If I get some polycarbonate, the same stuff for the lenses, maybe I can use that. lol answered my own question, now just need to find a wrist unit :P to amazon! :D

Could try the otterbox armour its one of the most protective cases on the market, but close range bb at the screen it may not protect. Although only one way to find out :P

There's protector made of tempered glass now
I just ordered one from techarmor, check spiggen a brand as well

I reckon it's made of gorilla glass, same as iPhone's 5/5s screen (not sure if the 4/4s have that same glass, anyways)

Saw a promo vid (to take with a grain of salt) where they drop a 1inch steel bearing from 1 foot or so on the glass/phone with no damage; seems convincing

So that might be your best bet

I've had success with using a Otterbox defender w/ holster. When its holstered, the back is facing outwards (which is protected by a hardsell and silicone layer).

But you'd have to draw it out to view the screen. My idea was to have it on my arm so i can glance at it at a moments notice. Although, that does work too, just not as fast :)
