Can I convert a G3 to a MC51 or HK51
 

Hey comrades, does anyone know if a TM G3 can be converted into a MC51 or Hk51? I have two G3 and would like to convert one to a shorter gun for CQB. Any help would be highly appreciated.

You could its just sourcing another front end will be hard i imagine. I also have a g3. I wish i could find a tm hk51 front end for it. The tm hk51 was limited edition though. Bummer.

I'm still researching since I have never seen one in person. I thought the MP5 front end could fit it at first but the charging handle is different but the same on the G3. If anyone has a mc51 frontend please let me know.

I'm on it, trying to work out the details. I didn't want to buy another gun but I guess I can sell one of the G3.

I had a CA MC51 (well, actually a SAR Offizier M41FS) that I tried hard to got it sold…

Just saw your post. Do you still have the MC51? I'm interested to know if the mp5 handguard can fit it.
