Holo Sight Clones

Are there any clone Eotech Holosights out there that doesn't have a reflective lens?

Every time I use mine in bright daylight, I can see a clear reflection of my own eyeball in the sight. I've tried various anti-reflective and anti-glare films and none are effective. I don't want to put a hood on it, because it looks silly.

Why don't they put anti-reflective coating on the lens like they do with red dots?

invest in a eotech kill flash

The lack of anti-reflective coatings where they are needed in clone Eotechs is also the reason you see the red dot from the front. In night games, it can give your position away.

Real ones don't do that, but you can see the reticle from the front with real Eotech if you use a 3X magnifier, but it is very dim.

Go real, or deal with the glare and odd reflections.

never tried it myself, but mayb some panty hoes stretched over the glass might work.

Or smearing it with KY jelly.

As far as Brands go, you may want to check out Hurricane Eotechs. They're about as close to the real deal without actually buying a real one.

For the price of a Hurricane vs. a used EOTech out of the classifieds here go real.

The real reticle is so much nicer there's no comparison.

I got my Holographic sight from MILSIG... about $100 and I have never noticed reflection at all. Nor have I ever seen the reticule from the front. At all. I just checked, but MILSIG's original site seems to be no longer active, and they new site doesn't feature any optics. Looks like something came up since they no longer seem to be selling their own product or something...
Anyway. My Holo sight is a EOTECH 552 long body style, with the red dot itself featuring the standard circle with sticks at the N,E, and W positions, with a center dot, and two more dots below for ranging. It's pretty good, even in bright daylight. I'm planning to get a killflash on it though, to protect the lens. Last thing I want is for it to get shot out. :/

Milsig does still carry knock off eotech's but at $100+, not the best price around.. But it's Milsig so I'm not surprised.

Hey I saw ones at Flagswipe for almost double the price... And I didn't see much difference in the design or function.

Get one from TA. They are like 65 bucks. Mine has worked fine and I've never had a reflective problem. They actually have a sale on the nice 552 model atm.

Hmmm... Maybe I'll pay their store a visit. Thanks for that info!
