What brand is this glock?
I bought a glock 18c with an extended magazine for chump change the other day. I'm hoping you guys can help me identify the brand. My assumption was WE, but after some research it could be a number of brands.
http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/973/w1ei.jpg The slide was clearly originally painted black. There was no "G" symbol anywhere on the gun, only the words "GLOCK18C" and "AUSTRIA" as seen above. The frame is devoid of trademarks or writing of any kind. The fluted barrel is metal, and the guide rod is plastic. http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/9692/n1nx.jpg The lower plate's serial says "CQB911US" There was no trigger safety present either. Despite the near malicious level of cosmetic wear, and that it has definitely seen a lot of use, the internals appear to be in perfect shape. Can anyone tell me what brand this thing this? |
Post a picture of the hammer assembly and we'll know for sure. The CQB911 serial number and the lack of the Glock features makes me think it's a KWA.
EDIT: It is, searching CQB911US resulted in results for a KSC/KWA type glock |
it can't be a WE, their (only) models are Gen 4 Glocks, more sharp edges on the Gen4 and this has more rounded edges, so i can conclude it is a Gen3
placing my bet on KWA/KSC as well |
Correction WE does have Gen 3 Glocks available.
My assumption as well it could be a KWA. I believe KWA use to ship out modified Glocks and the missing trigger safety was one of the modifications KWA did. |
Thanks for the response guys. I had looked up some stuff on google as well, but i just wanted to be sure. Here's the slide and frame internals anyways.
