13.5v battery?
So i just picked up a gun that was worked on by a legend in my time Gump.... i took the battery out to charge it and see what he did inside and it appears to be a 13.5v..... is that right?
It has 9 small batteries all connected..... i dont have my multi meter handy to check it but I need to buy a second one so I wanted to know where such an animal can be found? |
Should be 10.8v. Nimh & nicad cells are 1.2v each

You'd probably need to look around web stores that specialize in battery packs since old school batteries over 9.6V are not that common. I went to these guys last time I needed non standard battery pack http://www.onlybatterypacks.com/ but that was years ago so maybe somebody can suggest a better place.

It's a 10.8v battery, but the multimeter will read 13.5v off it fully charged
cheapbatterypacks.com or upgrade to LiPo |
Thanx boys!
It's been a while..... forgot it was 1.2 not 1.5 |

thundercactus...as per our discussion yesterday... you were right (of course) a 7.4v Lipo battery does power the gun.....only if i didnt forget it at ArmyIssue's shop :banghead:
i'll have it tomorrow. thanx for all ur help |
Oh, I thought you said you had tested one already and it didn't work lol
Well if you're content with the rate of fire on a 7.4, then everything's perfect |
