Gloves?
Hi!
So I've got this really big game coming in Quebec in May 18. From what I gather, I need gloves. Obviously, I don't have a pair, or I would not open a thread. Basically, which ones do you recommend, and where should I get them (to have them reasonably fast)? I need them In Coyote Brown/Tan color. A model I looked at was the Mechanix M-Pact Gloves, but they're out of stock in Medium. Anywhere else I could get them? Any other similar model you can recommend? Thanks. |
Check oneshottactical... he stocks those and other Mechanixs.

mechanix originals are pretty good too
|
Those are available at basically any local Canadian Tire with a large surplus of other Mechanix brand gloves. Give the automotive and construction sections a look, I'm sure you'll find them! I've also seen them in the hunting section at my local Canadian Tire in mossy oak.

They have nice condor gloves at Prefair in Beloeil

If all else failed, go to a bike shop and see whether they have gloves in tan.

Try http://www.torontoairsoft.com/ACM-O-...um_p_1073.html
Or http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/produ...oducts_id=1892 if you like the half finger type. Shouldnt be an issue getting shipped before your game. Hope that helps. |
Bought my Mechanix Gloves from here: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/...yword=mechanix
It is only $7 - $14 shipping. |
Mach 1 stocks them. These may be too hot in the summer. I have both and prefer the original glove for outdoor. Mpact for indoor close finger shots.

Get the Oakleys if you want ultimate tacticool.
They'll run you anywhere from $30 up to $100. If you ever stop by Oakley Outlets (either at Vaughan Mills or the Fashion Outlets at Niagara), they regularly have them for about $40. Some of the fake ones are okay too, but be warned: the black palms on some of the replicas will stain your hands black and make you look like you just ended work at a mine shaft. True story. |
Thanks for all the messages.
I really stopped my choice on the Mechanix gloves for now, but I'll compare the other brands just to be sure. However, it seems like the original non M-Pact are better for summer. I'll find a place that has them in stock and post back again here. Thanks a lot to everyone. |
Homedepot carries the Mechanix Gloves in hardware section. I have a full cover glove set and a 2 figner cut off set that have been really good to me. Only like 15-20 total for both pairs.

I'm not sure if you have an Acklands Grainger in your area, but they may or may not have stock on those coyote M-Pact gloves. They are in their system, and if they don't have them in stock, they can order them in for you. Be warned, Acklands Grainger is known to have a large mark up, but being on their tier one discount for large busineses means I get it for slightly less than retail...

well a good discount set id recommend is voodoo tactical shooter gloves, their thick, durable (had em for like 3 years, no sign of loose stitching etc ) and their cheap! for only 25$
