Airsoft-World announcement

http://airsoft-world.com/home.php
Well, the announcement on the front page says that they cannot sell guns because airsoft is Illegal in Canada. Yet all the stickies I have read here claim that, as of now, airsoft IS legal in Canada. I'm a tad confused. *looks at date on announcement* Perhaps this is simply AirsoftWorld's laziness I've been hearing so much about?

Please be patient if there's an easy answer and I'm annoying you- I'm new.

Never EVER buy from airsoft-world.com, Jacky Chan (Not the superstar asian fighting guy in Rush Hour two...) is the owner and he never gets up from his lazy ass to ship anything. This is probobly a statement that he is closing due to his lazyness and his lack of updating the site on whats in stock or not. The retailers you should buy from are at the top of the page under canadian retailers.

Guns are legal to buy in canada provided that you are 18 years of age or older, if not get your parents to buy it for you.

Miss a little, miss a lot eh? You have a lot of reading to do. The shitty part is that they delete a lot of the threads that turn into flame wars, so it's not always easy to get the history on a subject.

agreed

Conscript is totally right about airsoftworld, so many times i've practically thrown money at them, and they wont even put the effort into taking it so i can have my equipment. I believe their company is already closed as Jacky Chan is on my msn, and appears to be a booking agent or some nonsense now. If they are still open, the bottom line is that they are one of the worst retailers out there, offering the best prices.

one more note is that the post on their site is almost half a year old, so it's a good bet times have changed.

Not Too Direct

" please do not try to purchase any guns from this website before confirming that they are still instock "

That's off the announcement on the front page, right beneath where they say they are not selling guns anymore.

Sounds like an ID10T error to me.

There are better retailers available, Tru being one of the better ones ..

I need another modding button that permits me to lock and trash the entire airsoft-world website along with all the other rubbish that I cram in there from time to time.

You'll notice they're not listed in the retailers at the top of the site.

Here in alberta you only have to be 16 (or it might even be 14) to buy bb/airsoft guns so that law doesnt apply for all of Canada (I guess only certain parts) stores like canadian tire, and most airsoft retailers and places that sell airsoft/bb guns say that you have to be 18 to buy but thats just there policy it's not the law.

I'm just saying airsoft guns are pretty much classifyed as bb guns so the same rules apply to airsoft. (at least they do for me)
