Shipping is a killer though :\

Well, I ended up buying a softshell. Thanks OP.

OM3GA January 17th, 2013 02:26

Wow, great find Horto! Now I just need to figure out what to get. Maybe something in every color. :D

Derpystronk January 17th, 2013 04:12

Looks like I'm buying a bunch of shit today. Damn.

lurkingknight January 17th, 2013 08:44

tan rain gear ordered. :D

shipping was not bad, they offered priority post on my rain pants jacket and bag for 35$

Given the savings... I think that's pretty damn good.

Derpystronk January 17th, 2013 11:11

Total retail price of items purchased? $2669.89

Total price paid due to badass clearance prices? $240.89

Price of shipping? UPS Standard $43.36.

Am I happy? Damn right I am.

Prepare your anus.

(USPS is shown as Priority Mail International)

I'm preppin' the anus. :(

Hopefully I can get the customs paid prior to it hitting the border to avoid the whole brokerage rape... Although the second cheapest option was over 100 bucks. Worst case is it all ends being a wash.

Good luck! As soon as you get the shipping notification, call UPS and tell them you want to clear the package yourself. They will send you some forms you need to take and go pay at a CBSA office, and then send back to them.

For everyone else, I might suggest shipping USPS (priority) to avoid UPS ass-rape. That's not to say you won't be charged duties or taxes, but at least it would save you on brokerage.

lurkingknight January 17th, 2013 11:55

still not too bad... with the amount you ordered, if it's all in 1 box, it's about 40$ flat for the brokerage, and duty (if not made in the US) and then hst on top. I think they advertise made in the US for a lot of their stuff.

Cliffradical January 17th, 2013 12:13

You're damn right I paid less than $200 for $2000 dollars worth of clothing perfect for Newfoundland.

lurkingknight January 17th, 2013 12:27

lol... was thinking to order more but didn't want to be greedy, especially with my japan trip requiring most of my cash in the immediate future.

OM3GA January 17th, 2013 15:27

It was a damn good deal. I bought $150 worth of stuff this morning that had a retail of $1800. I got three jackets, two pairs of pants and a duffel. It will be neat having the Level V softshell in three colors since I already have a multicam one.

tygr701 January 17th, 2013 15:51

Thanks for the heads up just put my order through. Great deal.

Brian McIlmoyle January 17th, 2013 16:05

Oh god... I think I bought one of each and 2 of some! my wife is going to KILL me ( because i did not get her any )
