I find it rather disheartening to know that CT sells these crappy springers...

Little kid sees it on the shelf and wants it so that they could show off to their friends and/or intimidate people claiming it is a real firearm and has their parent buy it for them.

I think Canadian Tire should have some sort of registration process for the soft-airs they sell (ie. label the gun and connect it to the buyer) so if they give it to their kid and their kid does something retarded with it, the parents get charged for it.

Charged with what? Failing to comply and being a dumbass parent?

Same thing if you had a real firearm... didn't lock it up, and your kid killed somebody. You'd be charged with that too.

On a non-shitair note, why in the hell would TM discontinue their SPAS 12 "stockified" version?? I wanted one so bad. :(

Well you can still order the stock as a separate part. I USED TO offer them for $60 for the stock, but that was when I was still living in Japan... and offering it... FOR NINE MONTHS!

But did anyone order it? Nooooo....
