Dye i3 pro - safe for airsoft?
 

Hi everyone. I've been searching for an answer to this question for awhile, to no avail. I have a Dye i3 pro paintball mask, but I'm not sure if it's sufficient protection for CQB. I suspect the lens is fine, but the holes near the mouth and ears look like a BB might be able to pass through if it had enough umph behind it. I guess the logical next step would be to test it myself, but I'm not sure I want to shoot it point blank to find out.

Has anyone had experience with this particular mask?

The i3 will work just fine.

I use a Proto on paintball fields that play airsoft. And that have bigger slits.
