Seller forgets to ship by COD, now Martin Tremblay aka Batista (buyer), has items and refuses to pay.
 

I sold Martin Tremblay a few items here on ASC and I was supposed to receive a cheque, made by him, in the mail, back in July. I guess something happened with the post office and although Tremblay said he sent the cheque, I have yet to receive it.

Now I forgot Tremblay's ASC username and I'm wondering if anyone can inform me it so I can directly contact him using the ASC messaging system.

Your post boggles my mind. Why on earth did you send out product before receiving the check? I wouldn't even considering sending anything unless the check arrived and the funds were cleared in my account.

I'm going to be honest. I HATE POSTS LIKE THIS ONE I QUOTED!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously do you not think he realized he made a mistake and needs a quick flame that completely does not help him at all?

Sorry though as I do not know the ASC username but consider this as a mistake no going back in time now. Use EMT from now on it works best I find. Hopefully someone that knows him in real life sees this post and alerts him or someone knows his ASC username.

mmmken did not flame him. He worded his post in a way that is easy to interpret, and suggest how he should have handled the solution. Yours, on the other hand, is an opinion. Keep it to yourself. This is about issue resolution, not compounding the problem with off handed remarks.

OP, do you know the area you sent it to? Maybe someone locally to him can help track him down.

I'm not going to derail this thread with you, so I'll say it once: If the OP personally feels that I have flamed him, then I apologize - although I never called the OP an idiot nor did I suggest it.

What boggles me even more is the fact that you don't have a single PM saved and took until September to post this up? Is he local and did you actually deal with him on ASC? In any case, you would probably find some resolution by PM-ing Drake (an administrator here) as he handles the age verifications, and the archival of actual names to usernames. That is, if the person you sold the items to is in fact verified.

Just did a search through archives; there's no AV'd Martin Tremblay.

Where does it say he shipped the item out before getting a cheque? Hope you get it sorted out. I remember dealing with you wayy back when. Seems you (me as well) still have a lot to learn about the real world :(

Hey OP, I sold some items to Martin Tremblay, aka "batista" back in the spring. He paid C.O.D. with no issues.

Holy crap, Martin Tremblay is batista? No wonder that name sounded so familiar. I also dealt with him as well. IIRC he is a tech in the forces. He did come through in the end however.

That's right guys, I remember now. Batista is his ASC call sign. I'll pm him soon. Thanks for the help. I hope I don't end up bothering his training.
