we/Hk Glock or ksc, TM?
hi,
as the title says I'm in your head to buy a glock. I want a gun not too expensive, unreliable. Recently WE/HK has released a G17 and a G18C what do you think? thank you |
I've heard nothing but good things about the HK3 Glocks (essentially a WE as far as I know).
If you want the heavy-weight metal-filled polymer frame that's closest to the real Glock, then the only choice you have is the KSC G19 or G23F. |
yes but the KSC G19 BNIB is not available
|
another good option is the KWA ATP which is essentially a KSC Glock 17 with a slightly different look to avoid copyright disputes
|
I thought TM's were the best Glock by far?
|
@rommen: stock with plastic slide and using propane?
|
For fullsize Glock's, I'd recommend TM.
Cottoni has a KSC 19 in stock I believe. |

In terms of externals it leaves a few things to be desired, namely the off-spec dimensions and the plastic. |
I love my KJW 32C. No trades tho :(

i own the HK3 Glock 17, and i have to say its a great glock, especially for its price.
i've owned a full metal ksc glock 18c and glock 17, and yes, they performed and were better externally than the HK3 glock, but this was after hundreds of dollars i spent upgrading the ksc glocks. if you want an inexpensive, with metal slide/barrel/recoil rod and proper glock trades, i recommend the HK3 glocks. i might even pick up an 18c soon since the 17 has been so good. and its 100% TM compatible! |
thanks everybody I will check on cottoni's armory and explore kjw models.
@xon: I found one Hk3 G18c too and it seems to be cool. what kind of holster are you using for your WE? |
I've been running a KSC G19 for a while as a secondary for when I want a change from the Sig.
I've gotten to like it and am going to embark on a G17 project once one of the slides I've tagged as must have comes back into stock. The build will be on a TM or WE frame, depending on what comes up first. This will be a bang around skirmish pistol, not a put it on a shrine never to be scratched pistol. |
i'm using a blackhawk belt holster. keep in mind that if you are buying any kind of hard plastic material holster, that the TM/WE/HK3 glocks slides are slightly larger than those of the real glocks. i've had the same thing happen to me with my kjw p226 and fobus holster.
i just used some sandpaper and sanded down the inside of the holster until it fit perfectly for my glock. but you can buy holsters made for airsoft glocks, check out airsoftdepot for some. |
mmh the choice is not easy but very interesting inputs thanks boys.
