Classic Army & Star mags : good match?
 

I couldn't find an answer with the search function so does anybody knows if Star M4/M16 real cap mags will fit in a Classic Army M15A1? Emags won't fit, they're too tight, so I'm a little weary of CA mag compatibility.

I've got a bunch of m16 STAR realcaps, they fit, but don't always feed. Still not sure what's up, they might just not be seating properly. I've gotten a couple to work now. They all worked at first, but after use, started to misfeed or not feed at all.

the CA in question is also a bit old, 3 or 4 years.

If you're using STAR mags in a non STAR gun, expect a less than optimal experience.
