Element Manta Light Replicas: Thoughts, input, etc.
 

I've checked alot of the usual retailers, Ebairsoft, Airsoft Depot, Airsoft Park Etc. and have not found anyone to be carrying these as of yet.

Was thinking of ordering 1 or 2 of these bad boys for my OPSCORE, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts, opinions, first hand experience with these or otherwise...

(the youtube vids look promising IMHO and for the price seems hard to beat)

For the price, they can't be beat. I have one and it's a decent unit. I've done a side by side comparison to the real one and the differences are subtle. My one complaint with it though is the tailcap, the real one has a better switch but they are interchangeable so you use the real one on the replica. There is a really good review on Arnie's about them. Check that out.

I should mention too, these are the FMA version, not the Element. The Element one copied the original design of the Manta. They may have changed that now though.

Thanks Karma, you're saying these are not exacting replicas whereas the Element ones are?

*Also, one of the descriptions I read said that it has both overt and IR functions is this true?
*And wondering if they can withstand getting rained on?
*Where would you suggest I buy one from?
