M27 Rails?
 

As some of may know the USMC has adopted a LMG version of the HK416 known as the M27. I was wondering if any body knows if the longer rails of the M27 hqve been made for airsoft yet. I'd like to add some more rail space to my rifle, and give it a bit more of that SOPMOD block II look (rails as long as the barrels without muzzle devises).

Not yet. Some people have made copies by cutting and shutting two 416 rails into one.

Thanks for the info, Danke. Where should I start looking for seperate rails? Besides google, I've tried, and my search-fu isn't super.

You need a 416 and then someone who's selling a broken 416 that's the same brand, and then you need to be handy in a machine shop.

Looks like your project is about to get a lot easier.
