What are hi-caps & Low-caps?
Sorry i'm new and trying to understand everything. Can someone explain to me what are hi-cap and low caps? And please if your going to flame...go do it some other place else. Thanks!

Hi cap mags hold lots more bb's and use a winding system. Example, An M16 low cap holds 68 rounds while a hi cap hold 300 (I think). You really should be asking this question, if you researched this for 1 minute you would have found your answer.

Hi caps are High Capicity magazines that usually hold 200+ bb's that are winded up in the bottom of the mag. BB's are easy to fill up because of its trap door that you can easily feed bb's in. They usually have feed problems like double feeding and winding them is a bit annoying.
Low caps are Low Capacity magazines that hold 30-80 bb's that are spring loaded, which means you have to load them in with a loading rod or a mag loader. They do not double feed and feed without the use of winding gears. Usually for the Mil-simmer. |
All you need to know is this:
Hi-Caps are for wusses and Lo-Caps are for real men. Though real REAL men load them to 33 rds.... :p |
High caps carry lots of BBs (200 and up), Low Caps carry 60 or less. To be in the true spirit of Mil-Sim, some people get Low Caps only, or fill their mags with 30 rounds, like the real deal. For support weapons, I would recommend High-Caps, but in CQB Skirmishing, I'd use low caps, to avoid people yelling at you, and the fact it's kind of fun.
