Come out to a game and get a sense of the community. Perhaps verifier will be there. I'll also give you a chance to get a feel for things and if you ask nicely people will let you hold their nice guns.

If you have no time to get AVe'd, then you have no time to play airsoft. Then there is no point in spending over 400$ in a gun.
BTW a gas sub machinegun is not the best way to get started into airsoft.

I have been trying to get Age Verified for months now, it is not easy to do when the local contact lives an hour away and both people have jobs ect.

Also, I started with a Gas WE SCAR and just recently got a KWA MP7.

to the original poster, start out with whatever gun you are interested in, just do your research. You can search all kinds of maintenance and review videos on youtube for almost any airsoft gun.
