KWA M9 PTP magazine quality?
 

hello everyone i'm in the market for an M9 and have come across the KWA M9 PTP. the only problem is that i have heard that the rails that hold the mag baseplate in place are weak and break. so, i'm just wondering if anyone her has had any experience with this gun and what your take on the mags are? thank you in advance for any light you can shine on this problem and, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

,after one full season I had no serious issues, the right side safety lever set screw fell out so I suggest lock tightening it. as for mag the one that came with the gun is more difficult to fill with gas but my spare mags dont have the same problem. I suspect the factory one has a larger or gas refill pin

so they fixed the mags and they wont break like before and, the gun is a good buy?

Apparently. The first gen PTP had a couple of issues, the new gens are awesome.

well then it looks like i'll be selling some video games and what not for my jump in to the world of gbbr. thanks for the help now all i need to do is save up $230 for a new m9 ptp from RA.

I have it since December 2010 hasn't break yet

Keep in mind The M9 was the very first to get System 7 Ever wonder why it's call system 7 or short S07? It's System 2007.

I have a KWA PTP M9A1 since 2 years and no leaking mags so far.

Good pistol overal. I use KSC japan mags AND kwa taiwan and both are good.
