M4 ris
 

Kinda a silly/noob question here, but I am not well versed when it comes to RIS handguards, or the M4 family for that matter.

Anyways, I was looking to buy the KA M4A1 from the guys over at Venture airsoft. I'd like to get an RIS handguard for it, but was wondering is there anything else besides the RIS that I would have to purchase?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

depends on what RIS your are looking for... but usually, when you buy a RIS, all the parts needed for install are included, i.e. delta ring for a DD Omega, ring for a Noveske or DD MK18. Other RIS are designed to replace the M4 standard handguard directly... just having to swap them...

Don't know if it was the meaning of you question exactly though...

I was planning on getting the DD Omega 9. So I wouldn't need to buy anything else for it?

If you are talking about the RIS itself, no... all you need is normally included in the package. Maybe some rail covers... but it's at your own discretion...
