My ICS m4 with TH Elcan scope

Hey all, this is my baby - an ICS M4A1 fixed stock with a TH Elane (Elcan) 3.4X scope.

Bandit June 22nd, 2005 15:42

Damn, that is really nice. Are the internals upgraded at all, or are they still stock?
How much did that set up cost all togehter?

Thanks, I also uploaded these pictures to the Gallery section of the site.

And Bandit thanks also, this setup cost me a pretty penny, $320 for the scope from 007 Airsoft and alittle over $650 for the gun from Rangers. The internals are all stock, however, I plan on putting in systema upgrades.

Snow_Raven June 22nd, 2005 16:11

Looks really good, nice and simple, no lasers/lights/microwaves hanging off it.

Good Job

Bandit June 22nd, 2005 16:25

Yeah, keeping it simple is nice and refreshing. When I get around to getting a job and some money, that is the way I want to go.

Elite_Commander June 22nd, 2005 18:55

Yeah, I am not much into putting everything onto my gun, simplicity is good. Less things to get caught on various bushes and other obstacles. Thanks for the feedback. :salute:

thats is a nice gun, i was planning on placin an order for the ics m4 fix stock
i heard good things about it

Elite_Commander June 29th, 2005 00:39

Thanks, it is a very good AEG. My Fav feature is the split gear box, makes upgrading the internals a breeze, unlike my AK where I have to take off everything and the kitchen sink to upgrade  . I hear complaints about the odd sounding motor, I personally like the different sound, and of course the forward assist/spring decomp. Very neat thing *but can break easily* I had to fix it.

enoh November 25th, 2005 10:31

how did you fix it? also, how sturdy is the fixed stock? i'm thinking of getting the exact same thing actually... elcan and all... great minds think alike perhaps? lol.

Kid November 25th, 2005 12:50

Forward assist easy to break? Did it break from pressure on it or overuse?
I use mine quite a bit, just wondering if I should avoid it.

EDIT: 200th post, Yay!

Why do you need to use the forward assist?

Kid November 25th, 2005 14:13

It decompresses the spring on the ICS M4/M16, it does the same thing as shooting semi on the last few shots.

gallantcorey November 25th, 2005 14:15

Ahh seen

enoh November 25th, 2005 16:47

so how did you fix the forward assist? and... how sturdy is the fixed stock:P someone please tell me.
