Where to find good helmets?
 

Hey all,

I'm looking to buy, for my use, a good helmet that is not a Chinese cheap copy. Looking for a MICH 2000, but i'm not looking for a bulletproof one... Only a very good replica... I had some (many) issued with the straps of the Chinese versions of the IBH and the M88... IBH is not standing well on my head, and if I want it tighter, straps are thight on one side, loose on the other, got the chinguard on my cheek... :S

In other words, looking for a high quality replica...

Can someone help me with that?

Buy a replica MICH2000, then buy Ops core straps.

I got my PASGT from Seals Action Gear in Calgary. $40 and it seems very good quality so far. Owned it for about 6 months now.

The Chinese fiberglass replicas are decent shells, but the accessories suck: swap them out for real straps and pads (for a MICH make sure you select the pad sizing that's appropriate for your head size; similarly for the OpsCore straps, make sure you pick the right ones. Check websites for details on how to measure/select the appropriate sizes).

I have one of the $50 replica mich helmets, nice thick shell, huge gel pads, I really like it

I have a MICH2001 helmet from Huang. Pimped it out with Team Wendy pads and Ops-Core H-Nape straps.. pretty happy so far.

I think every guy wants to know where he can find good helmet... :p
