Now will it be just an upper? or a full rifle?

Coresair November 12th, 2011 15:52

I'm thinking Upper assembly and AR57 marked lower done by Madbull, full gun by Socom Gear.

now, we just need to wait for WE to come out with those GBB P90s and have a modding/fitment party :D.

more like a combination of the WE armalites and P90 mags

But if its just an upper, that means legal import, I'd buy one.

Wow. Madbull has learned the airsofter way to ruin things. "If it's not broken, slap it onto an AR. That'll do it." Why ruin a P90 mag by putting it onto an Armalite?

Ask the real steel makers of the weapon....

Steven November 12th, 2011 16:02

That must be the ugliest weapon I have ever seen...

AngelusNex November 12th, 2011 16:09

I want one just to say I have one... though the practicality of it is none existent so I'd never waste the money.

Pinard November 12th, 2011 16:10

I just don't understand... can someone explain the use of both p90 and AR mags on the same gun ? please..

You're not supposed to use both... on the real gun, the casings drop out through the magwell.

PrIeSt November 12th, 2011 16:21

I want one. But it defeats the purpose. You get a short p90 but get stuck with long mags. And an ar is long but short mags. Kinda the worst of both lol.

Still want

vondnik November 12th, 2011 16:32

but still fun to shoot... Got to try the RS on a full auto lower last summer.... FUn as hell but still feels like a bb gun....

Fired from the longer 40.74-cm (16.04 in) barrel of the PS90, the muzzle velocity of SS195LF is roughly 60-m/s (200 ft/s) faster, and the muzzle velocity of SS197SR is roughly 45-m/s (150 ft/s) faster.[42] Fired from the shorter 12.2-cm (4.8 in) barrel of the Five-seven pistol, the muzzle velocity of SS195LF is roughly 90-m/s (300 ft/s) slower, and the muzzle velocity of SS197SR is roughly 60-m/s (200 ft/s) slower.[42
Having the higher velocity of the "AR" barrel combined with the muscle memory/training of said AR can seem like quite an advantage to some people.

lurkingknight November 12th, 2011 16:46

so you give up mobility and ease of carry of m4 mags for the long clunky unreliability and size of p90 mags? Don't get it.

Apparently them 'mericans felt it necessary to 'mericanize the 5.7 round. What haven't they mutilated into the armalite chassis?

kullwarrior November 12th, 2011 17:20

don't understand, only thing I could make out is the fire control will be the same...rest are different.
When I first heard AR57 I thought it was using a AR-15 chamber in 5.7 w/ modified M16 magazine, that was the only logical ways to do it.
