Can these be real at this price? I just bought mine but paid the double of the price.

Usually, issued gear at half the price of retail are well... issued gear. Property of DoD.

Since the US Army is in the midst of switching to Multicam foliage gear has dropped in price. They are most likely genuine because Revision has a large amount of foliage kits to still sell off. You can get the same kit at Bradley's Surplus if you go to Pine Plains (20% off too!)

You have a link for that?

Be very careful buying eye protection from Ebay. Alot of it is chines repro's. Don't take a chance with your eyes.

I already took your advise and bought the goggles with the link you provided!
Just inquiring if they were that cheap in the states.

Eeyore September 6th, 2011 22:50

Nope. I made the mistake of getting repros at first. Infact the retailer didnt even know they were repro until Revision let him know.

Be wary.

Bradleys is good to Canadians as they are close to the border in New York. It is a sort of pilgrimage for the Ottawa and Ontario guys going to OPP each year.

Thanks for the link but I don't think they carry the Revision Locust Desert Goggles. They do carry the ESS Goggles but are out of stock.

It looks like that, with one added lense. For what I know, looking at the packaging on the Ebay link, it looks alot like the packaging I received it in, minus the box.

Look real to me.

overkill1125 September 11th, 2011 01:08

If you read the description of these goggles, it states that it is NOT RECOMMENDED FOR AIR SOFT PAINTBALL OR SIMULATION TRAINING? Is it for insurance purposes or is there another safety issue reason?

Even ESS say that. Its because they cover firearms not airsoft. Some have gaps that BB' can get in. Not the intended use for them.

Those are fake. The fake goggles come with that black case with the cardboard label attached. Real Revision goggles come in a nice cardboard box, with the black case inside.

It is against Revision reseller policies to sell on auction sites such as eBay.
You can check the Revision website for authorized retailers, only trust those listed.

I repeat, the goggles in the link on eBay are FAKE.

The revision military kits come in the black soft case - they do not come in the retail cardboard packaging because they come in a bulk box. The main difference from the retail package is that the military kits only come with a clear and smoke colored lens--they do not have the amber lens.
