What makes are compatible with eachother?

Just trying to get a run down of what makes are compatible with others? Kind of like SOCOM GEAR=WE

What brand do you want to know about? AEG? GBB? GBBR?

Brett-18 August 15th, 2011 00:53

GBB and GBBR specifically

Styrak August 15th, 2011 05:48

Do you have a specific question, or are you looking to be spoonfed an entire list?

Asking a question as broad as this, is like asking "what foods are like other foods?"

At least narrow down a specific replica platform (ie, Glocks, OR 1911's, OR Armalites, etc). Because otherwise, "makes" doesn't mean squat if you're being general, as a Marui Glock is NOT compatible with a Marui 1911, for example.

That and certain parts for one brand may be compatible with others, but only those specific parts. Additionally the same may be true but the part may require minor modifications -- so they aren't directly compatible, but the amount of work required to make them fit is negligible (specially if the part in question is not available for your own make/model).

TM pistol hop ups are compatible across the board, all TM pistols and VSR rifles use the same hopup rubbers and barrels except for the M92 and the Desert Eagle I believe. KJWs are mostly TM clones. WE are usually TM clones, but their single stacked 1911s have lower frames that are not compatible, and neither are the magazines. KSC = KWA. NS2 and System 7 are the same thing. KSC's usually just shoot at a lower velocity.

With GBBR's there's virtually no internal compatibility between brands, unless it's a WA spin off like G&P

If you ask a more specific question I can probably give you a more specific answer.

He could have, but he's just generating discussion.

Thanks for the help, especially Disco.

Compatible with KSC/KWA 1911 parts only, some companies make 3rd party parts for it, they will be labeled as KSC and/or KWA compatible though if they are not, assume they are TM which is of no use to you, on a side note, your KWA MKIV is compatible with real steel grip panels.
