JG Aug A2 Clear plastic gearbox???
 
To all the AUG users I need some help. I was looking for a bullpup rifle to try out as a project base. So I purchased a JG Aug from the classifieds. I've been doing some research and I know JG AUG's come with metal V3 gearbox. But when I received my gun in the mail I decided to put in the battery. When I remove the butt stock pad to install the battery to my shock I saw a clear plastic gear box..

Can anyone confirm the gun I bought was a legit JG? I dont want to jump to conclusions but the seller is now MIA who wont answer my PM's or emails. I will post pics later tonight if need be.

I've never heard of any aug having a clear gearbox... usually AK's and M4's even mp5s. but never an aug. post pictures of the gun

sounds like you got ripped off.
pictures will help..

personally I don't buy anything unless the seller actually took the photo themself.

I don't recall any AUG comes with a clear gearbox. Sounds like you got ripped off. You should have asked for a actual picture of the gun and info on the internals. Lately lots of people are ripped off from the classified. Zero trader rating should be an indicator that you should take precaution and ask lots of questions.

JG has never, non that i can recall anyway, made short AUG models. Only CA (Recently) and BE have.
You my friend have a BE.

Sorry to hear about it. The only reason why anyone should buy a BE gun is for the body
