I want to buy this battery online, and it seems to be a pretty good deal too.. Does anyone know if it's safe to buy batteries online?

yes it is usually safe.
don't get a cheap charger.
cheapbatterypacks make quality packs better than others.

Ordering online is safe if you buy from someone reputable and pay with paypal.

I did go to Prairie Battery to get my custom battery made (lousy Sig 556 Shorty battery that fits in a collapsable tac-stock). I wanted NiCd because I'm pretty rough with stuff and LiPo would just be a bad idea for how abusive I am to things.

The battery works great, but in the end, the cost would have been a bit cheaper at cheapbatterypacks.com even after shipping. But he did wire my gun for deans, so huzzah!

Though going to PB did net me a referral discount when I went and bought a charger at Eliminator RC. So I guess it evened out all things considered.
