Lmao..It's not visible unless completely dissassembled...
A few steps to test if the spring is the problem or if it's something else.
Load the mag and fully wind it up, then locate the small button/pin that hold the BBs in the mag and slide it back (pointing the feeder in a safe direction) to allow the BBs to fly out.
Normally on functioning mags, this will release a bunch of BBs followed by the noise of the gears spinning wildly. If only a few bbs come out then there is a problem (Obviously) and parts may need to be replaced.
If you're familiar with the practice of dissassembling a mag you should already know what to do when you see it, if not, search for a local gundoc in your area via the "Calling all gundocs" sticky/thread.
A common problem with hicaps is the small halfgear seperating from the pin, and the spring breaking or tangling.
I cant give you advice or steps on "how to" perform the repair for liability reasons, but can offer my services.
