New FAMAS arrived!
Well, after 2 months of waiting, my new FAMAS has finally arrived!
I know a lot of people give CYMA crap about being unreliable and low quality, but I think this FAMAS is well made. Of course, I haven't field tested it yet, but just my holding it, I can tell it's in for a lot of use. It doesn't creak like the TM FAMAS, and it's pretty heavy. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/2173/dsci3173.jpg http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/8994/dsci3172.jpg |
It look really nice! And I think that the only things that you'll need to do it's to change de bushings for metal one, a shim and grease job. If you do it, the GB will last very long!

metal or plastic?
|
All fa-mas are plastic.
|
Nice..........cat!
|
Brand new French FA-MAS! Never fired! Only dropped once!

Body is plastic, everything else (internals, barrel, trigger, bipod, magazine, cocking lever) is metal.
Cat's name is Tiger :p |
A fuzzy black cat named Tiger? Cool, any more pics?
NOTE: I can't stand Famas, hence my not commenting on it. You really like it, run with it, not trying to spoil your enjoyment of your new sweetheart. I do find it funny, as a life long cat owner, that if you are trying to take pics of something or someone, cats always seem to find a way into the picture as if to draw attention from the focus onto them. Love it!! Lol |
It's really the Cat's Famas....
Don't mess with kitty :D |
lol. When he was a kitten he had a striped tail. So I called him Tiger. Now he's about a year old and his tail is just a plain black. So now it's kind of weird.
Unfortauntely, I don't have any other good pictures. Maybe I'll take more tomorrow :) As soon as I unboxed it, he came running over and played with the box and styrofoam. It was cute. |
The Famas. The first AEG of 60% of the noobs. Sold after 1 year.
Origin of the interest: video game where they made it shoot fast... I just had to get it off my chest. Now, if you are doing a french soldier impression, that's awsome. If not, well, IMO, it's a difficult AEG to maintain. |
Ahh the french and their funky weaponry development.. Anyone ever seen the "bent barrel" french SMG from WWII?
Glad you enjoy it. |
