AKS-74u GP-30 ????

Hi all !

So, I treaded my gun for a AKS-74u, from ICS.
Now, I really like............no...............LOVE grenade launchers !
So, would a GP-30 fit on a aks-74u ?

Thanks !

Unfortunately, no. AKS74U's are pretty short, and GP30's require the longer barrel of a regular AK to have a mount.

You could totally bastardize and destroy your AK by putting rails on it and getting a madbull launcher... Er, wait, no. Thats a dirty thought.

Alright, madbull launchers sucks, I know !

Thanks, Strelok !

You could also get a longer barrel. It wont technically be an AKS74U anymore but you could attach the launcher then.

PS I love my gp30 but you will need to practice your reloads all over again because there is a different technique with the handle where it is. I'd really only attach it if you really plan on using it as it can be a useful tool to have in the field.

Ok, do ou guys think that I can add a bayonet on it ?
Real or not ?

Coma February 22nd, 2011 10:16

Don't believe there is a bayo lug...

On a good note however, a member at ArniesAirsoft custom made the correct GL for the AKSU. It fires the smaller 'moscart' spray shells. If you're handy with tools you might get some ideas fromt that and make up your own.

You would need this: http://images-mediawiki-sites.theful...2667352215.jpg

Unfortunately, no ones manufactures them, but like Coma said, a few have been custom made!

Wouldn't be useful when the enemy's full size rifle and bayonet is already through your chest up to the hilt before you can even touch them with yours!

Completely unrelated to the topic, but your signature is incorrect. AKS74u fires a smaller bullet than the M4. 7.62x39 is what an AKM fires.
