Lipo???
Hi,
Got a smart charger (Onyx one), work on lipo and NiMH. There is no plug for the balancer (on the LiPo). Is that normal??? Or should I always plug the balancer as well???? |
To put it easily: If you're not balance charging LIPO they have a chance to go up when charging.
Get a balancing charger. |
|
Nope.
Pick up an Imax B6 They're like 60 bucks and they do everything well :) |
you need to add a balancer.

I have turnigys that need to be balanced after every use cuz they are out by .5 or more. but to be on the safe side, its good to have a balancer... what i use for balance charging http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=7443 what i use for stand alone balancing. http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...dProduct=10328 |

While we are on the topic of lithium batteries.....a 7.4V 15C Li-Po vs. 9.9V 15C LiFePo...which one will give higher rof?

Both packs supply more amperage than your motor needs as well, so the physical size of the battery won't make a difference like it does with NiMH/NiCd batteries.
|
aight thanks.

Got my balancer,
Now, it appear that this lipo: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/bb-batter...ry-t-plug.html Would need an adapter to fit with the pro lipo balancer. Anyone has any hint? |

This is what I have used with my Lipo the past year. No adapter needed and so far nothing exploded. :D |
