We gbbr scar-h??
 

I remember rumors of a SCAR-H gbbr coming out just before the M14 was released but I haven't heard anything since then. Has anyone heard any news? Seems to me it they already have 40% of it built with the SCAR-L and they could use the guts from the M14 mags so it would probably be the cheapest one yet as far as R&D goes.

from what I've seen and heard, it's basically a lower kit and that's about it so far

More like 90% already done, they don't need the M14 at all. Just a regular use of the SCAR L with a longer firing pin, the rest is just a slight resizing.
With US SOCOM dropping the L version the H is going to be much more popular...

Too bad we won`t be able to import this lower receiver.

Why not? It's not like the SCAR lowers are prohibited. :rolleyes:

still needs the longer upper to accommodate the longer lower not just a simple swap out. And the upper IS illegal to import.

Aside from the M14 there hasn't been any 7.62 GBBR out yet....

But a scar-h sure is welcomed !

As much as I'd like the MK17 trades on the upper, I'd still be happy with The "H" lower conversion if that's all they make. I do wish they would do an AUG instead of the L85 though as far as bulpups go. The AUG is far more egronomic and being a lefty-the L85 is a no go. Thanks for the vid juicy!!

I don't see why ppl get excited over the SCAR H. The thought of having to buy different bigger mags for a slightly larger gun doesn't excite me.
