Any maintenance will have to be done at a certified Applecare center. Also, the end user won't be able to replace magazines.

Non secure devices with non field replaceable batteries and screens with insufficient contrast to work in direct sunlight. Apple's best bet is to use their product as free show swag to push Sabre Defence sales.
